Cocao-Coco Chia Bites
Don’t you love that eating healthy doesn’t mean boring?
I do!
At first, I didn’t know this. When I first began to change to a healthy eating lifestyle, I had my fair share of bad tasting, bland tasing and flat out gross ‘health’ food! This is where my quest began and I haven’t stopped since.
Here is a wonderful and healthy snack that are power packed with omegas, health fats, pure energy and great taste! They are also simple and quick to make. Bam – even better!
The only thing that would make these taste better is if they were dipped in dark chocolate. Okay, maybe that’s overboard.
Then again, maybe not.

Cocao-Coco Chia Bites1 cup raw coconut butter
1/2 raw coconut oil
1/2 raw cocao powder
1/3 cup chia seeds, ground
1/3 cup golden flaxseed, ground
1 tbsp raw local honey
1 tsp local bee pollen (optional)
1/8 tsp sea saltMix all ingredients together in a bowl and place in mini- cups in a mini-muffin pan. Freeze for 10 minutes. Remove and place in glass containers and store in the fridge!
