This is an ‘old fashion’ recipe that goes WAY back. In times when water was scarce, people use to cleanse themselves with Olive Oil. Olive oil has amazing benefits, inside and outside of the body! As a skin care product, it cleans and moisturizes.
This cold cream is first of all a cleanser – but if absolutely necessary, it could be a night cream. I use this morning and night. The other great thing about this product is that you don’t necessarily need running water to use it (water is used to dampen a washcloth, but can be wiped off with a simple cotton pad). I can use this when we go camping and don’t have running water! It softens the skin from the first use and you will notice a difference from soap based cleansers.
Due to the natural oils in this cleanser, usually only a light moisturizer is necessary if you have normal skin. We sell a wonderful Facial Spritz that is a light moisturizer and compliments this cleanser very well!
To use: apply to skin in circular motions as if you were applying a cream and wipe off with a damp washcloth or cotton pad. It’s that simple.
